Third Party Administration (TPA) Claims Products
Below is a partial list of the TPA products Health Special Risk administers:
- Youth, Adult & Professional
Athletic insurance:
Health Special Risk administers
programs for sports ranging from T-ball, the Olympics, race
car drivers to the PRCA rodeo cowboys. America’s
athletes at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games and all previous
Olympic games since 1988 were covered though Health Special Risk.
- Association Programs:
National or
local; professional, technical or labor related. Benefits administered
include Accident Medical; Dental; Sickness; AD&D; Weekly
Indemnity and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
- School Programs:
Mandatory,
voluntary; public, private or parochial schools. K-12, base
plans and catastrophic, 24-hour or school-time only.
- Day Care Centers and Pre-Schools:
Health Special Risk writes substantial blocks of day-care programs
nationwide. We have done fully insured, self-insured, and association
blocks of coverage, again Primary and Excess.
- Inter-Collegiate and Inter-Scholastic
Athletics:
Basic, self-insured or catastrophic
plans with $1 million benefits. Primary or Excess or a
combination of both, with more than $50 million in benefits
paid in the last decade.
- Camps & Conferences:
Sports,
dance, religious, adults, seniors, teens or recreation.
- Trucking:
Accident/Sickness/Disability
coverage for both occupational and 24-hour hazards purchased
individually by the owner-operator or through the trucking
firms. Passenger accident coverage also administered.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment:
Health Special Risk’s TPA team has full claims authority with many
carriers to administer Basic and Voluntary AD&D, Group
Travel Accident and Weekly Indemnity products, from claim submission
to draft release.
- Travel:
Health Special Risk’s Travel Administration Services division administers
true Travel and Vacation products such as Trip Cancellation;
Baggage, Repatriation, Currency Conversion and legal/travel
assistance programs on both in-bound and out-bound basis. Coverage
is offered to both retail and tour-operator distribution outlets.
